As we sit here in Melbourne airport (in Hungry Jacks - we had to see out our time in Melbourne with a traditional Australian meal), I cant quite believe how fantastic our time here has been. The people we've met, the things we've seen, the experiences we've had - it's all been better than we possibly could have imagined and we are so thankful to Australia for having us these last 21 months.
But now it's time for our next adventure. We've packed up our whole life, said goodbye to jobs, friends and most of our possessions, to embark on what I know will be some of the best months of our lives. There will be highs and of course there will be lows but we are ready for both, and are so so excited.
First stop - Los Angeles! Due to the mysterious timezones we will be arriving at our first destination just 25 minutes after our departure from Melbourne. Who said time-travel wasn't possible!
